Sunday is our day off but that doesn’t mean what you probably think. We don’t get to talk to our families, run down to the PX (Post Exchange) to buy a soda, or take a leisurely walk around post. , still wear army greens, and still get three minutes to hammer chow. The difference is that there is no training. During the week we practice marching. We do teamworkbuilding exercises and confidence courses, the obstacle courses for which basic training is famous. We do hand-tohand combat and pugle stick fighting.
